I just completed a Fundementals of Thai Massage course. It was really great! I have had long-term problems with my shoulders, upper and lower back and knees. Even in a training environment, where some practitioners were bettter than others - I felt really great coming out of the class. Very open, expansive, range-of-motion has improved significantly and the effects seem to be lasting for some time. There is also an energetic component to Thai massage and I have to say although it is very subtle, there definitely is an awareness that energetically I am more balanced and aligned. It is very nice work from a holistic stand-point.

We are ready to begin offering this modality at the Center. See the main CFIB Services Page for more info! You will love this.

Hi -

In case you happen to be looking here and miss the notice on the main page, we have updated our class offering dates. There is a full schedule for Meditation, Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, and Parent-Infant Massage. If you are a massage therapist - there have been some questions about CE hours for these classes. I am in the process of getting approval from the NCBTMB and State of Illinois for the classes. Although I can not advertise that they will count for hours yet - the NCBTMB and State will allow retroactvie award of the hours.

Have a GREAT DAY!

Hi. Jen and I have been talking about ways that we can have more information about the Center available. We also wanted to provide a place for people, with common interests to gather and talk. So, we started a forum that you can access from: myforum.yourcfib.com and we also have started this BLOG. Please take a look at the FORUM and if you like - suggest a category or make a posting.

Keep track here for on-going information on a real-time basis.

Thanks.
